One of the parks in Olivet is by far the most fun, and is hands-down the most special.
Formally known as Independence Park, Memorial Park, and Trenton Shrontz Playground is the fruit of community sweat and tears, and the playground is named after a local young man who passed unexpectedly.
In addition to the monetary donations given, the Shrontz family along with the community chipped in, and helped build this visual memory.
In addition to Memorial Park, there is a public baseball field, basketball courts, pool, and outside tennis courts that The University of Olivet has opened up for public use.
